‘Tis the season to be jolly, because Inky – the mascot from our sister site Inky Deals – is Santa’s little digital helper this year. And he’s prepared a ton of surprises and holiday specials for you. ‘Tis the season to be jolly… Are you hearing bells just yet? The winter holidays are approaching fast and we have to get our affairs in order: vacation plans, presents, being nice so that Santa will be generous and last but not least, greeting cards to send to our loved ones.
With this in mind, we have put together a collection of lovely vector Christmas (and New Year’s) cards from which you can draw inspiration.
It seems to me that we no longer have 4 seasons! A week ago we had summer temperatures and now it’s gray and snowing at the mountains. So, in the spirit of early winter, I would like to show you some beautiful illustrations with delicate snowflakes to inspire you to create sweet postcards for your family or for your freelancer projects. Enjoy!
Time flies and it may be a good idea to plan ahead and to do some creative work in advance. With this thought in mind we bring you this sweet collection of Christmas inspired designs to check out before start working on your own smashing holiday artworks. Remember, Christmas spirit is all about family, children, giving, Christmas tree, snow riding, Santa Claus, pretty lights and whatever makes you giggle of joy.
I don’t know if you noticed, but everyone seems to be a lot jollier this time of year. Maybe it’s because of the falling snow, the beautiful lights in the city, the upcoming winter vacation and, YES, the presents coming from Santa! Child or adult, everyone is talking about him, waiting for him with a smile on their face. So please Santa, if you read this by Christmas, I would like to receive as presents more beautiful creations from artists and a great amount of creativity for the next year.
Starting with November and early December, most of the products in stores get a new “look”, they are “dressed” in a holiday outfit. You can’t help but see a lot of red, the specific color of Christmas, on almost all the products. Besides that, we see a lot of package designs with snow flakes, Santa, reindeers, Christmas globes, snowmen, gift boxes and Christmas trees. I personally like to see the winter edition of a product because it usually has a colored, funny or out of the ordinary design.
